Mena Survari burst onto the big screen in the classic movie “American Beauty”, since then her star has only grown brighter.  Here she is at a red carpet event sporting the perfect up-do, the bigger the star the bigger the hair is the message she is portraying here.  To steal this look, schedule time for an up-do with your favorite hairdresser and leave plenty of time to play.  Take hair and divide into three sections, gather each section and tease heavily at crown, pulling it straight back and pinning tightly at the neck.  Spray it all over with firm hold hairspray and you’re all done and ready for your close up.
